Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer

Our Midlands based private sector client is looking to appoint a proactive, highly motivated and enthusiastic food safety expert, to professionally support our many catering outlets, ensuring legislative compliance and developing operational "best practises" within the business. **This is a perm role**

You will be required to carry out regular audits both in house and with our suppliers, liaise with Environmental Health Officers, assist with maintaining our Food Safety Management system, along with investigating food safety issues. You will need to demonstrate competence in providing Health & Safety assistance to your colleagues, along with supporting them in this area when advising our many teams. An essential part of this role is to be able to "think on your feet" and be solution focussed whilst maintaining business continuity.
